A cyclist in Anaheim, possibly bicycling to work, was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday Morning. The car that struck him fled the scene. Anaheim Police are still searching for the hit and run driver.
The male victim was left lying in the street. After the first car hit him, he was struck by a second car. Authorities pronounced him dead. Timeline of events:
- At approximately 5:55am, an unknown vehicle struck the cyclist
- A second car was able to avoid the cyclist
- A third car was unable to swerve in time and struck the victim
- Emergency personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene
